What you'll do
Join Celestin, a slow fashion label making whimsical clothing custom to people's measurements, based in Melbourne. Celest is so excited to spread her passion for all things fashion as we get cosy and chatty and embark on a hands-on workshop sewing whimsical tote bags.In this class, we will go through the stages of constructing a tote bag perfect for all your essential items. This four hour class is perfect if you're a beginner sewer or sewing-curious. You will be in safe hands as Celest guides you every step of the way in this intimate group workshop.We'll start the season off by spending the first 40 minutes getting you comfortable with your sewing machine. Followed by 90 minutes working through the first half of your tote bag. You will then have a 20-minute break to enjoy some snacks and get to chat so you can feel refreshed when you get back on the sewing machine. The last 1.5 hours will be dedicated to you finishing off your tote bag to take home!

It was founded by Celest who wanted to bring whimsical clothing to life through sustainable practices and having an inclusive sizing range by specialising in made-to-measure clothing. All orders are made by Celest herself from start to finish. As Celestin has grown Celest found herself wanting to include ways for like-minded people to come together and feel empowered. This is why after conducting some private sewing lessons Celest decided to launch sewing workshops. After coming to the realisation just how much she loves getting to help others learn and feel empowered in the craft of sewing.
