If you have a doggie best friend then this is the class for you!
In the ultimate in upcycling, you will transform a vintage blanket into a fully lined custom-made dog coat.
Under the guidance of Deb, you will learn how to measure and cut fabric, thread a sewing machine, how to sew straight lines and curves, and the importance of pressing (ironing) as you make your designer dog coat.
This workshop is a fabulous introduction to sewing and is suitable for all ages 12+.
Using all-natural materials (which are way nicer for your pup to wear than synthetics), you will leave with new skills and the cutest dog accessory.
Pricing varies based on the size of the coat being made due to the amount of fabric required. Measuring your dog prior to the workshop is recommended to ensure a good fit (please refer to the measuring guide in photos).

Hi I'm Deb, Owner, Designer and Maker from Stalia Design.
Coming from a long family history of creativity it's no surprise I started working for a sewing machine company at age 20, then at 24 I opened my own sewing shop.
A few years later I thought I would give the corporate world a try and got stuck there for almost 20 years (all the while making clothes and costumes for my children) until a chronic illness diagnosis rescued me!
Completing my Cert IV in Design and a Diploma in Surface Design rekindled my creative spark and I now offer you the opportunity to create beautiful, mindful pieces. With a focus on sustainability and repurposing reclaimed textiles.
Workshops are run in our private space in Jannali and I also run private in-person workshops for hen's and bridal shower, birthday parties and team building.
I look forward to helping you create your very own masterpiece.
