My name is Ally Jade and I am an established mixed media artist, living in Sydney's vibrant Inner West.I teach art part-time at a high school, and I have had several exhibitions, including at State Parliament House. My style could be described as portraiture with a street art influence. I love to incorporate poetry and words into the artwork, to create a multilayered story.I have a unique, self-developed style and a strong focus on helping students connect to their inner creativity and self-expression. I believe we are all innately creative, and we all have an artist within.My students have a lot of fun, creating using mixed media materials, paint, collage and can also learn how to create their own cradled wood panels, which can be a great alternative to mounted canvas.
