My best childhood memories are from spending time in the kitchen with my mom.  She taught me how to bake and cook and have fun. Now that I am grown up and have children of my own, we also have loads of fun in the kitchen. I am no professional chef but love “playing” in the kitchen with my kids.
The cooking fun and learning did not end with my children. Friends visited and we let them join in the fun of being creative and adventurous with us in the kitchen.
That is how Mamma & May cooking classes were born.
Learning and having fun at the same time with family and friends.  It was a dream for so long but I did not know how to go about it. Then the 2021 lockdown hit us and the idea was formulated.
I realised how important it was for my children to learn how to pack their own lunch boxes, make their own healthy snacks and be confident in the kitchen. I, as a mum, could only do so much. Children that can help themselves in the kitchen could make my life so much easier.
The aim with our cooking classes is for kids to experience the "real" kitchen environment (where they can have fun, mess and learn to make their own snacks). I believe confident kids in the kitchen can make parents' lives easier at the end of the day.
Come and join a cooking class with your kids. They may just surprise you or you may just surprise yourself..
