I am a qualified music teacher who teaches multiple musical instruments (djembe, piano etc.) in different primary schools in Melbourne’s east, and after school lessons at my own music academy in Ringwood.I also run African drumming workshops for school holiday programs, school incursions, children's parties, events, festivals and team building activities. ​In my drumming workshops, each person has their own djembe to play. I focus on teaching simple rhythms that anyone can learn, and lots of musical fun. I grew up in South Africa and was exposed to African rhythms from a young age. Some would say it’s in my blood!
