Suitable for:
  • This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a date idea, team building activity, Christmas party, or hens party.
  • This experience would also be a unique gift for her, gift for mum, or gift for couples.
Please note that the first class is generally held at Yarraville Community centre or similar community kitchens, however, after the first class, the tutor can work with the participants in the group and change location if suited to everyone, including travelling to your nominated location if suitable.

  • Safe food handling practise, cleaning routines, and putting kitchen items away.

What to bring
Tie up long hair and wear enclosed shoes. Aprons, pens, and notepads will be provided.
 
Session repeats

After the first session, subsequent sessions can be arranged with the teacher, at a time that suits you.

Kate was raised in a refugee camp in Hong Kong and had very limited exposure to different culinary and cuisines in early childhood however that environment didn’t stop Kate from having a desire to cook/ bake and create delicious meals and treats for her family and friends and sharing her knowledge and skills with others.
Kate began her journey in hospitality with a Baking business Sweet Serendipity for more than 10 years before she paused to start a young family. She is returning to the hospitality scene with a Cooking tutoring business specialises in Asian cooking, baking, and patisserie and very passionate about wholesome yet creative dishes that not only tantalise your tastebuds but also pleasing the eyes.
Living with allergies herself, Kate’s recipes can be adapted to be allergy-friendly (such as gluten-free, nut-free, egg-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and vegan).
