Welcome to this hands-on pottery course in Sydney! Gain a solid foundation in the basics of clay work over the course of eight weeks.
You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced trainers who will guide you every step of the way. Students will be taught the necessary skills for hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil and slab construction.
During the class, we will provide all the necessary materials, including clay and tools, so you can fully immerse yourself in the creative process. Learn about the properties of clay and explore basic firing and glazing techniques. Our trainers will share their knowledge and expertise, ensuring that you have a comprehensive understanding of the craft.
Not only will this class teach you valuable skills, but you'll also leave with tangible results. Take home your beautifully crafted clay sculptures and be proud of what you've accomplished.
Please note:
This course will be taught at Merrylands Community Centre: First Floor, 17 Miller St, Merrylands NSW 2160
There will be additional costs for extra clay and additional firings payable directly to the trainer:
  • Firing and glaze = $70
  • Half bag of clay = $15
