6 Week Hand Building Course

Learn how to hand build ceramics using methods like coiling, slabs and pinching

6 x 2.5 hours Class size 1 to 6 guests

$525 (Afterpay available)

Discover the art of ceramics in our intimate hand building six-week course. In this course, you will learn various techniques such as coiling, slabs, and pinch pots to create your own beautiful and functional ceramics. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, our small class size of six ensures personalised attention and guidance throughout the course.
During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to create stunning sculptural pieces and practical ceramics that you can proudly display in your home or give as unique handmade gifts. From bowls and vases to quirky figurines, the possibilities are endless as you unleash your creativity and develop your own style.
Don't worry if you're new to ceramics; our experienced instructor will guide you every step of the way, making the process fun and accessible for all skill levels. You'll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the techniques and see your ideas come to life in clay.
We understand that firing your pieces is an essential part of the process, which is why we cover the cost of firing up to 10 pieces. Additionally, all the clay and glazes you'll need are included, so you can focus on creating without worrying about extra expenses.
Working with clay can be a therapeutic and meditative experience, allowing you to disconnect from the stresses of daily life and immerse yourself in the tactile satisfaction of molding and shaping. You may find yourself losing track of time as you explore different techniques and uncover the unique possibilities of ceramics.
By the end of the workshop, you'll not only have a collection of one-of-a-kind ceramics but also a newfound appreciation for the art of hand building. Join us in the studio and embark on a creative journey that will inspire and transform you.

I am Karina and I am a ceramic artist, business owner and teacher based in Crows Nest on the upper north shore in Sydney. My passion for ceramics started out as a hobby in 2016 and over the last two years has really grown into a small business with a focus on handmade small batch ceramics and tailor-made events for clay lovers and learners.
I have a passion for teaching and making. I'm a very social person and I love meeting new people, teaching others how to create ceramics and explore clay, hosting events and collaborating with other businesses in fun and creative ways.
I hope that I can teach you to make something beautiful.
