Wheel Throwing & Glazing Course
If you're looking for a therapeutic and fun way to get more creative and reconnect to your community whilst learning a new skill, our 8 week wheel work course is a great opportunity to refine your skills, learn new techniques and have some fun along the way.
Over 8 weeks, you’ll be guided by Lucy, Founder of NYP Studio, through a number of skills and techniques needed to become a capable and confident thrower.
The course is structured so that each week focuses on a new and advanced technique, but we also place a lot of emphasis on time for practice and experimenting.
We'll have a foundations refresher, where you'll revisit the basics on how to centre, throw cylinders, make beautiful vessels using more clay with ease, trimming and glazing.
The workshops are small and intimate to maximise your experience.
*Have time carved out to PLAY, EXPLORE & establish a style that resonates with you and beautifully expresses the creativity that's within.
*Gain a new creative community who you can grow with
*Access to resources, tools and guidance throughout your creative journey that will leave you feeling confident and capable to step into any studio as the ceramics artist and creative that you are.
At the end of this workshop you’ll be able to take home a range of pieces that you’ll be proud of!

Not Yet Perfect is a ceramic business that strives not only to make beautiful pottery but also to beautiful creative experiences, soul-soothing spaces, magical moments and idea inducing workshops.
Ceramics are what set the table and create a place for people to come together, eat together, have deep conversation and create beautiful lasting memories.
At Not Yet Perfect we will continue to create perfectly imperfect connection, beautifully flawed ceramics, and extend this spirit of liberation to the beholders of our creations.
