In this workshop, you will learn how to create an artist book that hangs on the wall. It's a unique and creative way to repurpose imperfect prints, unresolved drawings, and decorative papers.
What's an artist book? It's a 3-dimensional artwork that takes the form of a book, where both the design and content are part of the art itself. Waterfall books are a type of artist book that can be hung on a wall. The layers of papers which form the pages of the book have the effect of a 'waterfall', a dynamic cascade of imagery, colour, and pattern.
Perfect for beginners, you'll craft two different versions of the Waterfall book format using glue and stitching. The techniques are simple, and you'll have lots of fun working out your design, trimming and tearing your papers for your book.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
