Polla Posavec

With a maker for a father and a mother whose pockets are perpetually stuffed with foraged seeds, it's only to be expected Polla would end up as a creative inspired by nature.

An award-winning artist, Polla has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Western Australia, studied interior design and has also worked for many years as a graphic designer and commissioned artist. She is a member of NAVA (National Association of Visual Artists) and the prestigious Watercolour Society of WA.
Inspired by the beautiful bush surrounding her Chittering home studio, Polla loves to express her enthusiasm for Australian nature by painting representational watercolours depicting "life close up" - still life, animals, birds and flowers. She loves to share her techniques in achieving her brand of realism through fun and informative workshops that demystify watercolour and make them accessible to all levels of artists. You'll hopefully leave her class armed with plenty of knowledge to move forward and a painting you'd be proud to frame.
