Learn how to paint in watercolours with Sydney-based artist Kevser Ugurlu.
Watercolour is really everyone can easily use medium, just simply rubbing a paint with a wet brush to activate the colour. For the first hour, after an introduction to materials and practical techniques, we will work together on a range of exercises.
During the workshop, you will be guided through easy-to-follow watercolour techniques while you are learning how to blend together colours and manage the watery pigments to create beautiful effects.

What to bring
  • All painting materials are supplied, just bring your beautiful self.
  • It's not necessary but you may bring your apron to wear to protect your clothing.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 10 years old).

Adult accompaniment is not required.

Kevser Ugurlu is known for her unique approach and love of watercolour having studied and lived in international communities in Turkey and Japan before settling in Australia and becoming a valued artist in the Blacktown Arts Center community.
Kevser was recently a finalist in the ‘Gallipoli Art Prize and winner of the LAS watercolour art prize at Casula Powerhouse Art Centre. She continues her art practice from a home studio in southwest Sydney. My works are painted with watercolour as a medium.
