What you'll do

Looking to unleash your creativity through a watercolour painting class in Brisbane? In this workshop, you'll learn how to create your own beautiful watercolour painting, perfect for beginners and intermediate learners. With guidance from Cecilia and step-by-step instructions, you'll have the opportunity to view her artworks up close - no prints or scaled images!

Every session starts with a demonstration, followed by time for you to work on your painting.
Cecilia introduces a new technique and subject each week.
By the end of the class, you'll proudly display your completed stunning watercolour masterpiece at home.

Don't worry if you're new to watercolour painting – this class is designed for all skill levels. The materials used are specifically chosen to help ease any fears you may have about trying out this artistic activity. Throughout the workshop, you'll feel supported and encouraged to explore your creativity in a relaxed environment.

Not sure about committing right away? No problem!

You can book your 10 sessions and take breaks in between, as long as you finish them within 4 months.

I am a member tutor of Watercolour Society of QLD. Over many years, I have refined my skills and cultivated my distinctive style. I have won local and national art awards in Australia. Since 2019, I have been honoured to be chosen by the Australian Watercolour Muster for four years consecutively as one of thirty artists whose works get showcased in Italy for the world to see.

My watercolour paintings celebrate the timeless beauty of flowers by capturing their delicate essence with gentle brushstrokes and vivid hues. Through translucent layers and fluidity, I replicate the softness of petals, intricate details, and subtle gradations of colour that define each bloom.

The unpredictability of watercolours make them fascinating to work with. I love to watch colours blend into each other; the wonderful "accidents" that happen with the flow of colours cannot be achieved by any other medium that I know of. Painting is my form of freedom and expression -- at this point, I feel almost addicted to it. I want to share with you my passion and techniques.
