Stuart Ian Currie: Passionate Art EducatorI’m excited to share this journey with others, helping them discover the joy and healing power of art.With a lifelong passion for creativity, I embarked on my formal art journey as a mature-age student, completing my Fine Arts Diploma at Nepean TAFE in 2004 and earning my Fine Arts Bachelor at COFA in 2009, where I achieved 13 distinctions overall.Driven by a deep enthusiasm for guiding adult learners on their own creative paths, I began teaching at Parramatta Community College in 2023. Now my Art Classes are expanding and I can offer Drawing, Watercolour, Acrylic, and Acrylic Pouring (or Flow) Classes at The Lakes Neighbourhood Centre. Art has always been more than just a craft to me; it’s a way of life. I find beauty in the world around me, drawing inspiration from colours and even the simplest patterns. But art goes beyond aesthetics — it nurtures balance, promotes well-being, and fosters meaningful connections.
