Knowledge required
No prior drawing or life drawing experience required. If you would prefer to have some tutoring first, you may like to join one of our tutored classes beforehand.
What you'll get
- We have professional life models at every session and the model fee is included in the price.
- We provide easels, backboards, personal art tables and chairs/stools.
- Feel free to use our fridge for any drinks or nibbles that you bring.
What to bring
- An apron (just a kitchen one is fine) and/or wear old, comfortable clothes.
- We will maintain a warm indoor temperature for the models so wear layers if it is cold outside.
- Your favourite drawing materials.
- Drinks and nibbles for our 15-minute break during the session.
- *If you use oil paints, please only bring odourless solvents.*

Hi, I'm Catherine!Cerulean Studio opened in 2021 in time for the South Australian Living Artist (SALA) festival that year. We offer a warm, friendly and welcoming environment where people's creativity can flourish. We host regular life drawing sessions and a range of classes and workshops. Cerulean Studio also travels to the country, and we offer longer retreats and memorable artistic and cultural experiences overseas. We showcase student and tutor works during the SALA festival most years.
