Tara, a ceramic artist from Tehran, Iran, is now based in Perth, Australia. Her creative journey began fuelled by a deep desire for self-expression in 2018. After several years as an architect, discovering ceramics opened a world of possibilities, granting her the freedom she craved. She believes that even the most functional object should evoke a sense of wonder, inviting viewers to appreciate its intricate design, captivating colors, and engaging textures.She finds the natural world, with its creatures and organic beauty, to be an endless source of Inspiration. Animals captivate her imagination, while the human form and the events that have shaped her life also find expression in her work. Tara’s art is driven by a commitment to convey a range of emotions through her sculptures. From courage to the relentless pursuit of inner peace, she imbues each piece with an emotional narrative, whether through the form, the posture, or the color.
