My name is Stanislav Smetankin. I'm a professional chess teacher and former professional chess player. My chess title is International Master and my current FIDE rating is 2495 which is top 10 in Australia. From 2019 to 2024 I worked as full time chess instructor in Sydney Academy of chess and taught in many prestige schools such as The Kings, The Knox, North Sydney and many more. Last year a student of mine became 3rd in World Chess Championship under 10 and won Australian Junior Chess Championship under 16th (at the age of 9).

Since chess is my passion I have decided to open a few chess classes for Kids in Perth in 2025.

I love to teach kids and happy to share my chess knowledge and experience with my students and teach them to enjoy chess, win games and tournaments.
