Join this immersive five hour workshop in Perth where you will learn how to cut glass using a chosen template that you will trace. Di has a large selection of beginners' patterns and more complex ones for those with glass experience.
In this class, you will first learn how to grind glass into accurate pieces and how to apply copper foiling to each piece. Then, you will be taught how to use a soldering iron to solder each piece of foiled glass to put together as a unique finished piece to take home.
The workshops are a maximum of five people, which makes for an intimate experience with lots of one-on-one coaching. No prior experience required!

My name is Di and I’m a glass hobbyist who loves anything glass and I can lose myself in my studio for hours.
My passion started about 4 years ago and what I love most is teaching others the craft of copper foiling and lead light techniques and seeing how happy they are with the unique piece of glass work they have created.
I don’t expect a group to all make the same thing, in fact I love it when people bring their own ideas.
I teach intimate groups of up to 5 in a small studio in Glen Forrest so that each attendee gets enough one on one coaching to learn and perfect the techniques. Previous experience is not necessary.
