Your teacher, Fiona’s in-laws are from India, and her cooking is very much influenced by her mother-in-law who was the chef at her own Indian restaurants in Queensland for many years. These recipes are authentic and guaranteed to impress.

The word “thali” means plate and is an old custom. It’s essentially a traditional meal that’s served with up to 10 varieties of dishes in small round bowls called Katoris. They are arranged on a big plate known as a thali. This Thali meal is a combination of Fiona’s in-law's favourite dishes.
This class is loaded with full-body flavours, and a great variety of dishes to try out! Wholesome Bellies’ classes are for all levels as all recipes are simple, using only a few key ingredients.
Note:
  • The class is 100 per cent plant-based. This class is gluten-free. As a vegan establishment, the use of nuts in our premises is high. Please note that our meals may contain traces of nuts.
  • Please note tickets are not refundable, however, if unable to attend you can transfer the tickets to a friend.
