In this workshop, you'll learn how to bake your own wild-yeast sourdough bread from scratch. Dive into the process from beginning to end, mastering proofing, scoring, and baking techniques to create a perfect artisan loaf.
Not only will you bake bread during the workshop but you'll also make your own dough by hand to take home and bake later. Gain an in-depth understanding of sourdough starters and learn how to create, maintain, store and use them with confidence.
If you're new to bread making, this immersive workshop is designed to equip you with the skills and confidence needed to succeed. You'll get your hands sticky and floury as you shape and bake delicious sourdough. The workshop uses 100% organic flour from NSW Company Wholegrain Milling Co., ensuring a nutritious baking experience.
Master the art of sourdough bread making and leave with not only new skills but also your freshly baked bread to enjoy at home. The techniques learned in this workshop can easily be replicated in your own kitchen, allowing you to recreate the magic whenever you desire.

  • Fraser Coast Food Licence - we use the commercial kitchen at the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre for this workshop.
  • Our instructor recently completed an accredited course with Central Queensland University (CQU) to expand their knowledge of fermentation.
