As a teacher and someone who’s always loved making my own jewellery, I wanted to find a way to combine my two passions. The spark for Seventh St Studio came when I was maid of honor for my best friend. I was in charge of planning her hens weekend, and since she loves hands-on workshops, I thought, why not have everyone make their own wedding jewellery? The workshop was such a hit, and everyone loved it – that’s when I knew I had something special.
I absolutely love teaching because it lets me share the joy of creating with others. There’s something magical about watching someone make their own jewellery and leave with something they’re proud of. Since starting my workshops, I’ve hit an incredible milestone of teaching over 1, 000 people, which is huge for me! Before this, I taught in schools for four years, so I’ve always enjoyed guiding others.
Now, we specialise in hosting workshops for hens and bridal parties, birthdays, work bonding, and more. I also hold a degree in education, which really helps me create fun, engaging experiences for everyone, no matter their skill level.
