What you'll do
Join Grounded Village Studio and professional silversmith Jemica for a creative day in the studio in Jimboomba, learning how to design and fabricate textured rings using recycled metals and sterling silver.The basic silversmithing techniques of ring making including metal texturing, hand sawing, filing, soldering, sanding, and polishing will be explored using a variety of tools. You will have the opportunity to add your own creative touches to your rings along the way while learning key techniques and skills.The workshop will run for 5 hours in which you will be making 3 rings from copper, brass, and sterling silver. If you would like to make additional rings, supplies can be purchased during the workshop.Max of 6 participants
