Join us in West Perth, as we transform our workshop space into a sewing room. Our very own Emilie Otto will teach you sewing basics and how to easily self-draft a top from your own measurements (value of two workshops in one!). Em is a self-taught sewing wiz who loves to inspire people to make their clothes. She has created this top design especially for this workshop.
This workshop includes sewing machine basics, creating a top pattern to suit your body, sewing, and hemming. During the workshop, Em will share a few of her special tips & tricks to help you become a sewing pro in no time.
In this session, she will be showing you how to sew your top, which includes making your pattern to use time and time again. Your top is customizable to your body; make it your own by choosing what length suits you best and BYO fabric for ultimate customization. It's a versatile design that can be dressed up or down.
This beginners' workshop is perfect for anyone who has always wanted to try sewing or learn sewing basics. Skills learned in this workshop can be used beyond the workshop to create your pieces.
