Using traditional tools and methods for creating is important to us, and passing on these skills is our passion. We have always been the types of people who would prefer to make something with our hands than to buy off the shelf. Sometimes there is nothing better than making with your own hands.
We focus our workshops on the mindfulness of traditional making, and finding the technique that works for each person. Regardless if it is woodworking or leatherwork, we focus on teaching traditional ways to create. We find joy each time one of our workshop participants is beaming with pride when they step back and see what they have made.
Sustainability is also an important component of what we do. The timber we use is sustainably sourced from small, local timber suppliers. Our leather is sourced right here in Brisbane, where they have developed sustainable practices to produce Vegtan leather.
