2 hours Class size 4 to 8 guests     $295
On the search for unique things to do in Perth? Support a local small business with this special workshop and discover how to make a river resin jarrah cheeseboard!
Level up your charcuterie with your own DIY resin art. Work with locally grown jarrah as well as resin and resin tints from a WA-owned company.
In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn how to use casting resin to create an incredible, rectangular grazing board. Work with gorgeous colours, patterns and shapes to personalise your own unique design.
After your expert resin artist clearly demonstrates the process, she will then assist you with what colours to choose as well as mixing and pouring techniques, so don't worry if you have never tried resin art before!
You will experience the relaxing and satisfying benefits of this super fun art form and take home your own cheeseboard to impress your next party guests.
Please note:
  • This casting resin piece, will be professionally finished by a fully qualified carpenter to bring your resin grazing board to a professional finish. The fully finished piece will take 7 to 14 days from casting, curing, and routing before it will be available to collect.
  • Resin is a two-part chemical with strong fumes, gloves, aprons and instructions on how to safely heat and manipulate the resin. Correct and safe use of heat torches (up to 600 degrees) and butane burners (open flame).
  • Due to the safety precautions, we do not recommend this workshop for pregnant women and any participant under 18 years of age. Children are not permitted in the studio whilst resin is being used/heated.
  • Anyone entering the resin studio must be wearing PPE and must also be registered and booked into the workshop.
Please Note: Cancellation is not available, you can reschedule up to 3 days prior to your class. Free cancellation is not available as my workshops are booked out weeks in advance and I only have 4-8 spots per class. As a small business it is very difficult to manage cancellations & rescheduling so please understand if as much notice is given as possible it may be possible for me to fill a spot but it is impossible to do so last minute.
Important: You will need to leave your resin pieces behind as they will need to be cured for 24-36 hours after the class. All artwork is cleaned up on the following Monday and collection can be arranged after this day.
Resin pick up notice: customer finished pieces that are not picked up within 3 months will be donated to charity. You can request to post your piece by choosing the relevant add-on at the payment page.

After excelling in Art at Mercedes College, I was accepted to Edith Cowan University studying Visual Arts. And later Business & Professional Accounting at Curtin University. After a 20-year career working and Studying in Book Keeping & Accounting until 2016, I began painting again and realised where my passion was.
The opportunity arose in December 2018 to open a Children's Art Studio, I have been working to create and develop a Fun and Comprehensive Curriculum to teach a wide range of skills and mediums to children whilst teaching correct technique in a manner that can be adapted to different skill levels.
Working from my East Victoria Park studio, I teach Childrens Art Classes on Saturdays. I Offer Resin Art, Pastels Painting, Alcohol Inks, Oil Painting & Other fluid & Abstract workshops for Adults.
I have been working with Resin since 2018 and have exhibited some of my large scale Seascapes in December 2020 & sold many pieces to Western Australian clients & galleries.
I like to teach children a wide range of mediums including Drawing, Clay, Acrylic, Pastel and Oil Paints.
I generally work in Pastels for custom portraits and Oils for my more contemporary style painting. I specialise in original commissioned Custom portrait paintings and more contemporary stylistic, colourful works. I had always been an animal lover and have always been drawn to horses. Over the past years I have worked hard to develop my own style of Equine Art.
