Looking for unique things to do in Myocum? Join this resin art course and make your own wooden resin board, coaster and incense holder!
In this course, you get to see a workshop set up and running for the past 20 years----making cutting boards from local wood Camphor Laurel.
You will get to choose the pieces of wood that have been prepared and carved out for you to create your resin designs. Choose your favourite colours, then mix and pour the resin into the board, coaster and incense holder!
The resin must then dry before it can be finally sanded flat and then needs to be oiled the following day. If you are unable to pick up and oil your finished board the next day, we can then ship it to you.
By the end of the class, you'll be able to use your wooden resin pieces at home and make hosting dinner parties that much more fun!
Private bookings can be requested at $340 per person for under 5 guests.

I have been making timber camphor Laurel cutting boards and furniture in the northern rivers for the past 15 years. I carve the designs in the boards and use resin to inlay and then sand them evenly back with the wood to end up with a flat usable cutting board.
