Pottery Wheel and Wine Workshop

In this pottery workshop, you’ll use the wheel to sculpt and create a ceramic piece, focusing on using your hands to create something that is truly one-of-a-kind. Megan will show you the techniques required to start creating on the wheel and then you can spend the next few hours practicing your new skill and sculpting a keepsake full of your own unique personality.The pottery wheel can be challenging, sometimes on the first go, you might not create something you love. We will do our best to help coach you along the way, which makes this class perfect for beginners. Not to mention, you'll have your favourite drink in hand, while you dive into the world of wheel throwing. After the workshop, your pieces will be bisque fired, clear glazed, and glaze fired before being returned for you to collect and treasure within six to eight weeks. If you create more than two items, you can pay a kiln and glazing fee of $10 per item to turn other creations into usable ceramic vessels.We can’t wait to introduce you to your next creative hobby!Please note: Ceramics can sometimes be unpredictable. Due to this, there are limitations on the size of your items, sadly pieces break during the firing process and we want to ensure you have a beautiful and functional piece. Trust us, we have had to learn from heartbreak! Don't worry though our expert will cover all of this at the start of your workshop.
