What you'll do
Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this course is a great way to dive into the world of pottery! Over the course of four weeks with total flexibility on dates and sessions, you'll have the opportunity to participate in various sessions that cater to different aspects of pottery.Course overview:
- Two pottery wheel throwing sessions: choose days between Thursday 6pm, Saturday 10:30am and Sunday 4pm
- One hand build session, choose days, Friday 6:30pm, Saturday 5pm, Sunday 1:30pm
- One ceramic glaze painting session Sunday 1pm
- All sessions running weekly, pick and choose your dates, advance notice required for rescheduling three days notice.
- Public sessions minimum number to run is four people.

Suitable for absolute beginners, no skills required!
What you'll get
- Includes kiln firing process of one main piece per clay session, final second firing for the ceramic glaze paint session.
- Materials provided, and a small craft tray to take your art pieces/clay masterpieces home. Welcome to leave for pickup another day if required.
What to bring
- You’ll need an apron and a bath towel for your lap.
- Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting clay on.

I was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Queensland Art Gallery, which gave me ample opportunity to pursue my passion and hone my skills.I'm very much inspired by the beauty and diversity of Australia. Many of my paintings focus on landscapes, surreal, animals and people. North Queensland is a particular favourite, and you'll see the influence of coral seas and mountain landscapes throughout my artwork. I have a post-impressionist style through which I try to capture the wonder of the world around us.I specialise in pastel on card, and acrylic on canvas, though I'm also experimenting with abstract and air brush.I've been fortunate enough to display my work in many art exhibitions, and have been the recipient of many prizes and awards.I offer Paint and Sip sessions along with Clay and Sip sessions, both at discounted rates for ClassBento Patrons. The Retail on these sessions is RRP is $45 however I offer Clay and sip at $29 per person, and Paint and Sip sessions from $29 per person Earlybird tickets when booked 3 dyas before. We offer the highest quality service with artist assistants to help customers with their paintings, along with the teachers.
