What you'll do
Celebrate with a pottery party!Looking for something fun, creative and a bit different to do for your birthday or hens celebration... or even you team building session? Our three-hour 'pottery party workshop' will do just that. You and your guests will be expertly guided by Jude, who has over four decades of pottery experience, and overseen by Jacquie-O (the resident chicken) to ensure the mood is light and the creativity flows to a background of 80's music (or your choice of playlist).Each guest group will have the choice of making a plate or shallow bowl or a mug (one only) that they can then decorate and enhance with anything that inspires them. Artisan Avenue will supply all slip glazes, moulds, stencils and tools so that each person ends up with a COMPLETELY unique piece. We love seeing the results... people really do surprise themselves with their creativity in this airconditioned space!We keep Fridays clear for groups to book for three hour Parties 10am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 9pm. Please be on time so all can have a wonderful experience as there is lots to prepare to make this an enjoyable, wonderful time for everyone.Parties are welcome to BYO (glasses provided) and Fonzie Abbot is just across the road for yummy snacks and beverages after the class.

What you'll get
- Clay to create and then work with to add slip glazes, decorations, patterns (whatever your imagination desires) from a huge selection of inspiration!
- Use of all slips (glazes), tools and materials at the studio (as advised)
- 2 Kiln firings of your finished product 1220 degrees centigrade.
- The booker for the party can pick up the finished pieces a few weeks (could be up to 4 weeks, weather dependent) after the class as we need to allow this time for the pieces to dry, the kiln to fill up and your pieces to be fired. Your pieces will be dishwasher, microwave, ovenproof and food safe.
- An email will be sent to the booker of the party when your wonderful creations are ready!
