In this hands-on cooking class, you will learn to make the perfect pizza dough from scratch to make a delicious traditional Italian pizza. Learn from a professional chef as you knead the dough and sprinkle on your favourite toppings. This is a beginner-friendly class with step-by-step guidance so you're guaranteed a mouthwatering result.
At the end of the class, students will sit down in the dining room with a glass of wine and enjoy the meal they have cooked. (Vegan toppings available on request when booking).

Owner and Pastry Chef - Janet Newton
The passion for baking and cooking started in childhood for Janet Newton. The long Christmas holidays she spent baking with Czechoslovakian family friend, Irene. During this time the family was provided with an endless supply of traditional tarts, slices, biscuits and cakes.
The wonderful love of sharing food with family and friends was born out of these one on one cooking lessons and is the inspiration behind the opening of The Yellow Door Kitchen.
Janet trained as Pastry Chef at the famous Le Cordon Bleu cooking school and has many years’ experience working in restaurants and patisseries. Her ability to combine flavours and her passion for baking is infectious and will ensure students are transported into a wonderful, creative world of cooking during her classes.
