Petrie Terrace Gallery - Royal Queensland Art Society

RQAS offers an affordable and professional option for your next Art Exhibition or workshop or for a corporate event subject to availabilty.

There are two gallery spaces available, the Petrie Terrace Gallery at ground level which is available for hire for art exhibitions, and the upstairs the Studio Gallery which can also be hired for exhibitions or workshops.

The RQAS galleries cater to a range of media with a professional gallery hanging system and plinths available. The air-conditioned Petrie Terrace Gallery offers 47 Linear Metres of hanging space, with featured lighting and a warm and inviting atmosphere enhancing the viewing experience for all visitors.

The gallery is located close to the city overlooking Hardgrave Park with views of the city from the Studio Gallery.
There is street level access with ample parking available. All within easy walking distance to public transport, cafes, bars, and Caxton Street.

Here are the rates for hiring:

Gallery Hire for an exhibition:

• Petrie Terrace Gallery - $1420 for week 1 and $1220 for subsequent weeks
• Studio Gallery - $570 per week

Corporate Hire or to hire for a workshop:

• Day Rate - 4 hours $165 or 8 hours $250
• Evening Rate - 4 hours $220
