What you'll do
This session is for those who are familiar with pottery and have already taken a few pottery classes at our studio or elsewhere. It's the perfect opportunity to practice your pottery skills in a convenient pottery studio in South Brisbane. Whether you need a pottery wheel to practise your throwing skills or just need a space to explore hand-building in your own time, these sessions are perfect for you.Please note:
Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 3 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
- The session fee includes the use of the wheel and tools.
- You need to buy a bag of clay from us ($27 per 10 kg). You must take the remaining clay home with you.
- Firing cost is not included in the session fee as it will depend on the weight of pieces you would like us to fire for you. Firing will cost $11 per kg.
- Please bring an apron and a towel each session and leave your workspace completely clean before you leave the studio.
- As we have limited storage space at the studio, you will need to bring a container and bats to take your pieces home.
- This session is only for those who know pottery and do not need any supervision.
- This session can be used for both wheel throwing and hand-building.
