In this class, you will be guided through the step by step process of creating your own adorable chick using coloured felt. Dianne will give you a demonstration and teach you some basic needle felting techniques so you can create a quality needle felted chick that you can take home.

What you'll get
  • A beginners kit, including a rice bag, needles, wire, pipe cleaners, skewer, roving wool, merino wool.
  • The teacher will supply scissors, pliers, wire cutters.
  • Take home a completed felted chick.

Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm for learning about needle felting.
 
Suitable for

This class is great for a hens party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old).

Adult accompaniment is not required.

Dianne studied needle felting in Japan while living there for 16 yrs with some of Japanese finest needle felting teachers. Felting became a passion after years of practice. Dianne moved back to Brisbane and opened Wild Woolly Heads taking commissions for miniature replicas of peoples’ dogs, and large interior design trophy heads. Inspiration comes from her dog, garden and travels.
