Searching for new things to do in Brisbane? Learn how to make your very own natural soap using a non-toxic melt-and-pour method of making soap with expert teacher Valerie Pearson.
This is a timeless art that you’ll enjoy for many years to come. So if you’ve always wanted to make beautiful bespoke bars of soaps, this is the workshop for you!
Our aim is to empower you to make bath and body care products that are sustainable, using natural ingredients.
All of the equipment and ingredients are supplied, all you need to bring with you is an empty one-litre milk carton. There will also be soap making kits available for purchase so you can make more at home.

Knowledge required

Natalie is passionate about sharing a creative journey through the versatility of Powertex and teaches a range of mixed media workshops from fabric sculptures, self-hardening clay projects and painting.
She is a Powertex Distributor and a certified trainer for the East Coast of Australia in all levels of Powertex. Natalie is also on the Powertex Australian Design Team creating instructional blogs and a founding member of Down the Rabbit Hole Artist Co-op (BVAC member).
