What you'll do
Looking for fun things to do in Perth? Dive into the vibrant world of mixed media abstract art with this fun painting workshop! In this hands-on class, you'll be guided step-by-step through creating your own artwork while enjoying complimentary delicious platters and prosecco in our art loft studio. Dates are very flexible, Fridays 7-10 pm or Saturday /Sunday 2-5 pm. Just get a group of friends together 6-10 (maximum) and we’ll lock you in! You'll learn how to use different styles and techniques with a variety of paints, inks, stencilling, collage, metallics, printing and stamping in a warm, friendly and supportive environment. No prior experience necessary. No one fails at abstract art, it’s so enjoyable and easy! Explore, play, layer and experiment with colours, mediums and textures. At the end of this class, not only will you take home pieces of art created by you, but also fun memories and new talents!

Hello, I am a mixed media abstract artist who loves vibrant colours, layers and textures. I use a variety of mediums such as acrylic paints and inks, watercolour paints and inks, stencils, collage, metallics, gel sticks, stamping, printing and modelling paste.I have loved art since I was a young child, always enjoying experimenting and creating. I have been an early childhood teacher for over 20 years and always have a strong art focus in my classes. The last 18 months I have thrown myself into my passion of art and learnt about many wonderful new mediums and techniques via online courses and workshops. I’d love to share this fun with you at one of my ‘Painting & Prosecco’ nights in my beautiful art loft//studio on the first Friday of each month 7pm-10pm. (Mt Lawley, Perth). Come join me, be exposed to fun multi- media art. Enjoy yummy platters and complimentary bubbles while you are shown and supported to create gorgeous works of art on canvas.
