Discover the thrilling yet calming experience of wheel throwing at this beginner-friendly pottery class in Burnside.This unique session focuses on possibly the most enjoyable way to make ceramics - wheel throwing! So get some friends or family together and learn how to prepare your clay and get to work on the spinning pottery wheel.Each participant will have his own wheel. We'll help you through the process of creating your pottery piece on the wheel, decorating it and adding those all-important finishing touches. You'll also have the choice of two different types of clay to get to grips with!At the end of this beginners pottery class, we will process and fire your favourite piece for you so you can pick it up eight weeks later food-safe and ready for you to use.Not only will you walk away with some new artsy pottery skills, a bespoke one-of-kind handmade ceramic, but also a big smile on your face after a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
