During the two-hour class, we will take you to various picturesque locations around Canberra's National Gallery, where you will have the opportunity to practice your newly acquired manual photography skills. This class is tailored for those who have dabbled in manual settings but are yet to fully embrace them.
Our expert photographer will guide you through the technical aspects of manual photography, including shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and white balance, and provide you with the best camera settings to capture the perfect shot. This photography class is designed to provide you with plenty of personalized attention by running in small groups. You'll receive individualized help to master manual mode and gain the confidence you need to take stunning photos. By the end of the class, you'll be equipped with the skills to move beyond auto mode for good.

Knowledge required
Intermediate level (some knowledge/familiarity of the manual settings on your camera).
 
What you'll get
Two-hour tuition with an award-winning commercial photographer and your own photos from the class.
 
What to bring
  • An external flash if your camera does not have an inbuilt one
  • Camera manual downloaded on your phone or hard copy if handy
  • Film or digital camera of which you have a basic working knowledge and your camera manual (if you are using film, please let us know ahead of time)
  • One empty 4GB or larger memory card or at least 2 x 36 rolls of film
  • Fully charged battery
  • Your booking confirmation (on your phone or printed out)

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 14 years old).

Adult accompaniment is not required.
