Your Winter Wardrobe doesn't need to be boring! In this felting class, you'll learn how to create a stylish and one-of-a-kind (wet) felt hat for your winter wardrobe. Gail Grunske, a talented artist from Bundaberg, will guide you step by step in the workshop using beautiful and high-quality merino wool. Don't worry if you haven't tried felting before; this class is suitable for all skill levels. You'll get an insight into the creative process and pick up some invaluable tips along the way.By the end of the activity, you'll have a fabulous handmade hat that you can wear with pride, knowing that nobody else will have anything quite like it. Put your newly acquired skills to good use and experiment with different designs and colours for future projects. You'll not only leave with a stunning piece of wearable art but also with the skills to create more felting projects in the future.

Natalie Parish (BA, BSc, BEd)Natalie is passionate about sharing a creative journey through the versatility of Powertex and teaches a range of mixed media workshops from fabric sculptures, self-hardening clay projects and painting.She is a Powertex Distributor and a certified trainer for the East Coast of Australia in all levels of Powertex. Natalie is also on the Powertex Australian Design Team creating instructional blogs and a founding member of Down the Rabbit Hole Artist Co-op (BVAC member). Beginners are most welcome and will be surprised by their own creativity!
