Join us for a fun and creative event to learn how to create a wall hanging with a latch hook. You will also learn some basic weaving techniques and how different materials can produce different textures.Who is this workshop for?This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners who would like to learn the basics of weaving/ latch hook. You will have a choice of a range of great colours and textures and make your very own wall hanging to be proud of.I will also teach you how you can make patterns for further projects.You will get your own latch hook to keep and in addition to your creation on the day, will get a mat to help create your next design.This is a great way to get a new skill instead of doom scrolling on your phone :-) Useful to knowCheck out photos of previous workshops on our social media @crafternoonswithkirst.Please let me know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.I will be taking photographs during the session. My name is Kirsten. I live in Brisbane, Australia with my husband, daughter and Peanut, our sausage dog. I created Crafternoons with Kirst to give people in my community a chance to create in a non-judgmental, fun space while connecting with their inner artist through play and collaborating with friends. I have a background in Project Management and Communication and use these skills to host fun and engaging workshops but I also LOVE creating and want to pass this passion on.
