Join Kent Florist in Brisbane and learn how to make a Kokedama from scratch!
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn a bit of the history of Kokedama and then, make two Kokedamas (one small green moss Kokedama sitting on a bowl and a large one with sphagnum moss hanging in macrame) which can proudly be taken home afterwards.
You will learn how to combine the soil mixture and other special ingredients to make Kokedama, and also easy macrame to hang your large Kokedama.
Everything will be provided so all you have to do is show up with a loved one and get ready for a mindful day out in Brisbane!

What you'll get
  • Two plants, two kinds of moss, jute twine, cotton thread, pebbles, a dish, two kinds of soils, and charcoal are all provided by Kent Florist.
  • Two Kokedama handmade by you can be taken home afterwards.
  • A bottle of water and a Japanese snack will be served.
