What you'll do
This workshop is all about connecting with your Tween/Teen (age 9+) using craft, brainstorming and visualisation to create a gorgeous handmade notebook and a vision board page.You will learn the mindful process of Bookbinding to create a journal together. This is a 2000 year old craft that is still being used today. We will use the French Link Stitch bind to create a gorgeous bound book that lays flat when open.We will then spend some time talking about Vision Boards and brainstorm ideas for your own page. Lots of magazines, stickers, washi tape and other craft items to use! I am excited to share with you my love of Bookbinding, connection and personal growth in this fun packed workshop.note: each child and adult will take home their own handmade journal

I am Jodi from Craft2Gifts. I learnt the ancient art of Book Binding while living in Singapore and first started running workshops there. I have now moved back to Brisbane and love sharing my knowledge and skills of Bookbinding.My passion for Bookbindkng came from my love of papers, materials and many other crafts. I find Book Binding a mindful craft that can be completed within a few hours. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills of Bookbinding and meeting new and regular binders. I look forward to teaching you this ancient craft and helping you create your unique, handmade journal.
