Hand Building Class: Fairy Houses

Escape the grind and make ceramic fairy houses in Canberra!

4 hours Class size 1 to 30 guests

$299 (Afterpay available)

Looking to unleash your creativity and get hands-on with clay? Join us at Deep Blue Ceramics Studio for a whimsical pottery class in Canberra.
Under the guidance of expert craftswoman Carol Mead, you'll learn how to build your very own fairy house complete with mushrooms, flowers, windows and doors. Let your imagination run wild as you use stamps, texture rollers and silicon moulds to create a truly unique piece.
During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to work with ceramic paints to bring your creation to life. Additionally, you'll have the chance to make gnomes and standing mushrooms to add to your fairy garden. If you desire, you can turn your fairy house into a tealight holder or incense burner – the possibilities are endless!
By the end of the workshop, you'll not only have honed your pottery skills but also have a whimsical fairy house, a charming addition to your living space.

Amy is hands and heart behind Deep Blue Ceramics.
Devoid of creativity for much of her previous professional life she fell head first into Ceramics; learning, making, sharing and teaching, all after falling in love with a handmade mug purchased at a market.
Amy's classes are welcoming and supportive, beginner friendly one of experiences through to term length courses for intermediate potters. She loves to share #clayplay with individuals and private groups alike!
At Deep Blue Ceramics we're deeply passionate about the environment and social justice issues and strive to make a positive impact wherever we can.
