Enjoy the relaxing and mesmerising art of pottery glazing with The Island Potter in Oxenford and learn how to decorate a beautiful teapot for one set.
During this casual and fun class, you'll be making unique and practical items for your kitchen. We will start with a slip cast teapot for one set and you will decorate them with underglazes, tissue transfers and a wide selection of glazes.
As you create, enjoy listening to some groovy tunes and sip on some tea or BYO wine while we learn the slow process of glazing bisque ware.
After the class, your teacher will fire your amazing creations which will be ready to pick up in approximately one week.
Clay and sip is a great way to combine socialising and creativity for classy hens party ideas or private birthday parties. Unwind with your colleagues at a pottery and sip class for team building and connect with your teammates over clay!

A small pottery studio based in the Northern Gold Coast. All pieces are handmade and original. I try not to take work too seriously. Clay is a fickle medium and you end up learning you have to run with the punches. It can be a rollercoaster of highs and huge fails and that is what makes it so appealing! You never know what you are going to get! I offer small bespoke hand building workshops in an informal and fun environment.
