I went with my mum for a birthday gift making perfumes together, the experience was great. The teacher was very skilled at explaining the process at picking a number of scents for the perfume and how to ratio the oils to make a scent that was truly personal.
Picking a bottle was also really fun and the packaging and box complimentary with the experience really topped off the workshop.

The process ran at a very relaxed pace, providing plenty of time to wonder at all the displays and project options. My daughter and I were thrilled with our final project, which, at the end of the class were carefully and beautifully gift wrapped. This was a special day for us, so I was happy to pay what I now believe to be an extremely reasonable price for the service, materials and options provided. Excellent BBQ Smoking class with three different meats pulled together as a very tasty lunch. The two presenters were really knowledgeable and efficient. Unfortunately it was an unseasonably windy day but spirits were high and everyone enjoyed themselves.

This class was a birthday gift to me from my husband, and my teenage daughter also enrolled in the class. We had a great time and now I have a lovely lamp for my study! The teacher was helpful and kind. I would recommend this class - you don't need to be super-artistic to end up with a great looking lamp.
I received a gift voucher for my birthday and came along on my own. I felt welcomed and included from the beginning and had a really good time. The pace was comfortable, the afternoon tea was awesome and I came away with 5 beautiful smelling candles and the kit to start making them at home. I would highly recommend going.
I revived this course as a birthday present and had never heard of Margaret or the artists shed before starting!
What a fabulous introduction to painting. We covered a lot and I also walked away with some lovely art pieces that have inspired me to keep painting/drawing.
Will definitely be doing more classes with Margaret in the future :)

Would recommend doing this pottery session. Was extremely therapeutic and fun. Amy the facilitator was very helpful and supportive. My husband and I received this as a Christmas gift and enjoyed it immensely.
This was so much fun and so informative. I’ve never made soap before, but the process was really easy and very clearly explained. The 2 hours flew by and being such a small class meant I had lots of opportunities to ask questions. This was a birthday present to myself - what a great gift
Lucy was great! The tour was great! The tour flew by and I learnt so much. As a person that identifies as male but is curious to know more about this Capital of ours, I'm supremely glad I took the time to partake in this activity. I was gifted this experience as a gift and immediately upon finishing it I was wondering who I could gift it to in turn. Many thanks to the She Shapes History, it's so great to be witness people people share their passion. I rate this tour a Canberra must-do.
Our instructor Emily was calm and patient, and really nice. This was a Mother's Day present for my Mother in Law and myself and it was money well spent. We both had a wonderful time and love our beautiful lamps! Highly recommend
I purchased as Xmas gift for husband. He loved it! Mick (teacher) was very encouraging. Hubby is colour blind and doesn’t do much in the way of creative art. He found it relaxing and lots of fun, using the paints and his hands as the tools. Highly recommend
I bought a voucher for two teenage girls and they absolutely loved the class. It was fun and engaging and they met crafty, like minded people of all ages. Gorgeous little space full of good vibes and creativity. The teacher was fantastic and we can’t wait to see the end result! Nothing but love, great bday gift
