What you'll do
Looking for a unique kids group or birthday party idea that is both family-friendly and fun? This fused glass class is the perfect activity to get the kids to enjoy a unique art experience.Hosted at my home studio in Belair, kids will create a unique piece of glass art---a unique light catcher/window decoration in the form of a star or flower. Belair National Park is across the road from my home, the perfect spot for a post-workshop picnic or continuing the party.This is a fun, positive, and engaging workshop suitable for children aged 5 and above! Sweets and Refreshments are provided. You are also welcome to bring a Birthday cake.I provide all the glass elements pre-cut so that participants can have maximum fun adorning the stars and flowers with my handmade beads, rod pieces and stringers. I will be there to guide children and ensure safety. I then kiln-fire each piece, and they are ready for collection the following week. Then you get to hang them wherever you wish!I will also have extra glass cut and ready on the day, so you are welcome to make extra pieces. The cost is $45 per extra star or flower (parents and guardians might want to join in too :)I look forward to creating with you!Please Note:
- All children aged 10 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
- At least one parent must be present throughout the workshop.
- Cost is per child making one piece.
- I run my workshops on weekends but if you have another preferred day/date in mind please PM me on this platform - I can then make that date available to you for booking.
