My journey with Eezybeez began with a deep appreciation for nature and a fascination with the world of bees. It all started when I was a teenager. It took a few decades for the stars to align but I finally got my first hive when I was forty. That pivotal moment sparked a passion not only for sustainable living but also for teaching beekeeping that connect people to the wonders of nature.
I love teaching because it allows me to share the incredible knowledge I’ve gained over the years about bees, honey, and natural beekeeping practices. There is nothing more fulfilling than helping others understand and appreciate the magic of these tiny, yet mighty, creatures. Watching students become inspired and empowered to make a difference for pollinators—and our planet—keeps me motivated and enthusiastic.
One interesting fact that surprises people is that bees are responsible for pollinating a large percentage of the food we eat. Through Eezybeez, I’ve dedicated my efforts to spreading awareness and offering workshops that highlight how anyone can support bee populations in their own backyard. My classes are designed to be interactive, engaging, and approachable for all skill levels, from absolute beginners to those eager to refine their sustainable practices.
With over a decade of hands-on experience, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of students, from individuals passionate about conservation to corporate teams interested in unique, eco-friendly bonding experiences. I’ve also collaborated with local schools and community organizations to spread awareness about bee conservation.
Join me in an Eezybeez workshop, where you’ll learn to craft with nature in mind, connect with like-minded individuals, and walk away with newfound knowledge that makes a tangible difference for our planet!
