Looking for unique things to do in Brisbane? Join this eco resin homewares workshop with Stella Dash!
In this three hour introduction to eco resin, you'll be guided through the process of:
  • The basics of non-toxic eco resin, including tools and equipment
  • Mixing ratios of base powder and liquid
  • Tinting with pigments
  • Adding embellishments
  • Measuring and casting into silicone moulds
  • Sanding and finishing
All workshop packages include:
  • Apron for use during the workshop
  • Minimum two eco resin pieces handmade by you
  • Tips and tricks from experienced instructors
  • Tea, coffee and refreshments
  • Complimentary pair of Stella and Dash eco resin studs
Throughout the class, you'll have access to all the tools and equipment needed to bring your creative vision to life. Immerse yourself in the tactile experience of working with eco resin and relish the satisfaction of making two handmade pieces.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have mastered the basics of resin art and created your own eco resin homewares to take home.
Important to note:
  • Children 10+ are welcome to attend with a paying adult (i.e. due to space limitations, all participants must have booked/reserved their own seat). Please contact Natalia if you require clarification.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early so classes can start on time. This allows for maximum cure time for all pieces.
  • For cancellations or rescheduling, please contact Stella and Dash directly.
  • Eco resin kits will be available for purchase to continue your new hobby at home.
Knowledge required
No prior experience necessary.
 
What you'll get
  • One terrazzo trinket dish designed, poured, de-moulded and finished by you
  • Additional piece/s of your choice from available moulds (whatever you can make from the designated amount of resin set aside for you)
  • One cardboard box to safely transport pieces from the workshop
What to bring
Aprons and gloves are provided; however, it's recommended that old clothes are worn... just in case of a spill or splatter.
 
Suitable for

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 14 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

This experience would also be a unique gift for her, gift for mum or gift for couples.
