Are you ready to flirt with botanicals? You've come to the right place! Join Tatiana's studio in Subiaco and learn all about the art of eco-printing!
As both a science and an art form, eco-printing uses native plants, leaves and flowers to decorate a wide variety of patterns and colours onto fabric.
In this hands-on class, you will first learn about plants and how to create your own colourful composition on silk using a variety of plants and natural dyes. Then, learn the correct way to roll your bundle to achieve crispy prints on silk.
While your bundle steams for an hour, Tatiana will generously share her knowledge about fabric and plant preparation. You can ask her any questions you like and enjoy some complimentary bubbles, a cup of tea/coffee and treats.
After one hour of steaming, your bundle will be ready to unwrap, like a present under the Christmas tree. Celebrate your results with bubbles, take photos and leave Tatiana's workshop with a happy smile and a unique scarf, eco-printed with botanicals by YOU!
At the end of this workshop, you will see Mother Nature in a whole different light, wondering which plant from your garden or trees will give you a beautiful print next. You will also feel inspired to continue your experiments at home.
So what are you waiting for? Grab your friends or family and enjoy this creative workshop making your very own unique piece of art!
