Discover the art of printmaking and make your own art work

2 hours Class size 1 to 6 guests

$69 (Afterpay available)

Looking for a unique way to spend Saturday afternoon in Fremantle? If you are a nature and art lover, then it's time to burst your creative energy accumulated during the winter by making your own Eco cards using fascinating printmaking techniques in this workshop!
Printmaking involves very specific and patient procedures, but with this beginner-friendly workshop, you will be introduced to an uncomplicated, more spontaneous way to make beautiful prints. Eco nature printmaking is a great way to connect to nature and learn the basics of printmaking and is very meditative and enjoyable.
We will start the class with Afternoon tea in a beautiful central space at Fibonacci Center. Then we will choose leaves from what we provide. If you have any leaves or feathers you would like to print, you are welcome to bring them in. You can use both dry and fresh leaves but they have to be flat and smaller than A6 size about 10x15cm.
You will be printing on A6 sized paper, the standard postcard and photo size, so you can use your prints for Christmas cards or you can simply put them in photo frames. You can expect to make around five to 10 card size art work, but if you're super speedy, you may even make more!
The best part about this workshop is that it requires no special skills. The procedures are simple and meditative, the perfect way to unwind after the busy week.
This beginner art workshop is fun and meditative. Let yourself enjoy some time to simply relax and feel the creative energy surround you as you get lost in the beautiful and captivating art of printmaking!
