DIY Terrarium Making Workshop

Are you fascinated by the lush mini jungles that are terrariums? Or never heard of these self-regulated gardens but are eager to know more? Come and learn all things terrarium making in this relaxing workshop!In this workshop you will be making a dry / open terrarium that consists of a glass vessel with an open top and arid or desert like environment. Dry terrariums are easy to care for with watering only needed every 2 - 4 weeks. Generally speaking, open terrariums are much simpler than a functional closed terrarium – making them a versatile choice for the home or office.In this workshop, which is perfect for beginners, you'll learn how to build a terrarium including the best way to layer soil, moss and gravel. Plus, you can get super creative on top and customise your mini-ecosystem with a selection of plants and other decorative items which are provided.While you're getting your hands dirty, we encourage you to slow down, share stories and take the opportunity to connect with others. We aim to provide a beautiful experience so that anyone who attends our workshops can leave feeling empowered by their newfound knowledge and skills.By the end of the workshop, you'll have your very own DIY terrarium to take home and all the tips to keep your miniature garden thriving.This workshop is a great option for community activities, team building or festival entertainment. All Mate Studio Workshops are mobile and are held at a location of your arrangement - home, office, park, or venue!Please note: The class will run for approximately one and a half to two hours.
